The Bible Ministry in Schools (MBE), a key department of the Association pour l’Évangélisation des Enfants (AEE), is gaining momentum in Haiti with the start of the 2025-2026 school year. Its mission is to bring the message of salvation to pupils, including in difficult areas of the country.
This year, the MBE is mobilising nearly fifty teachers to serve in about thirty schools. The goal is to reach some 4,500 children with a message on “Serving pupils as for the Lord”, inspired by Colossians 3:23-24.
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” (Colossians 3:23)
Teachers trained and supported
To make its work effective and lasting, the MBE gives great importance to training and supporting its teachers. Several refresher sessions were held, with three aims:
- Evangelise: a solid understanding of the message of salvation.
- Strengthen: build up their faith.
- Establish in a church: encourage their service in a local church.
The Bible Ministry in Schools thus reaffirms its place as a major actor in the education and evangelism of the younger generation.
